Assembly was time consuming but not too difficult. The displayed numbers look pretty good. The biggest problem is there were no English instructions on how to set anything.I finally got the right time, but have no idea how to set a different color, change from 24 hour military time or set or turn off alarm. For this reason I give it a 2.

Web page is misleading. This is NOT battery powered. It has a button (watch-type) battery in it to keep that basic timekeeping function alive in case of power failure. It IS powered by the standard USB-C wall wart.

I recently acquired the Yonder Sage Tech Retro LED Imitation Nixie Tube Clock, and I’m really impressed with it! Assembly was straightforward—the parts fit together nicely, and the whole process took me about 90 minutes. It was actually pretty enjoyable to put together.Once assembled, the clock looks fantastic. The vintage-inspired design and wood color give it a nostalgic vibe, and the LED display mimics the classic nixie tube look perfectly. It’s a great mix of retro style and modern tech.I use it as a desk clock, and it’s been a fun addition to my workspace. It gets tons of compliments during team meetings—definitely a conversation starter! If you’re looking for a unique display piece that’s both functional and stylish, I highly recommend this clock.

My kids have enjoyed watching this fun little clock. It looks nice sitting on the table, but draws them in because of the fun number display and lights. It keeps time well. The numbers can sometimes look a little weird, because of the multiple layers of acrylic, but it's generally readable. Looks very steam punk or tech.

Really cool and fun to assemble. But the directions translated from Chinese are tough to understanding.

So, you're eyeing the a Nixie Tube Clock, huh? If you're into that vintage aesthetic but don't want to deal with the quirks of actual Nixie tubes, this might just tickle your fancy. This clock is a DIY kit, meaning you'll get to channel your inner craftsman (or craftswoman) and assemble it yourself. Each component is designed for easy assembly, so you don't need a degree in engineering to put it together. Once assembled, it uses RGB LEDs to mimic the warm, nostalgic glow of traditional Nixie tubes, displaying time through engraved number panels. You can customize the colors and modes to suit your mood, from classic hues to dynamic displays like rainbow flashing and water flowing.Pros:Customizable Display: With various color options and modes, you can tailor the look to your liking.Energy-Efficient: Utilizes low-power LED technology, so it won't be a drain on your electricity bill.Vintage Charm: Offers the nostalgic appeal of Nixie tubes without the maintenance hassles.Cons:Assembly Required: If DIY isn't your thing, putting it together might feel like a chore.Plastic Build: While it mimics a wood finish, the material is plastic, which might not meet everyone's quality expectations.Limited Authenticity: It's an imitation Nixie clock, so purists seeking the genuine article might be disappointed. In summary, it offers a blend of vintage aesthetics and modern convenience. It's a fun project for DIY enthusiasts. Just keep in mind that it's an imitation, so if you're after an authentic Nixie experience, this might not fully scratch that itch.
