So i got this for taking pictures of plated food for a website. So farci have not gottwm the picture quality I had hoped. We actually found our new phone seems to do better on its own. I will continue to try though. The ring is a bit high i feel like i would like to get the light closer. The different light colors are good but in pictures i dont see the difference as much as I feel I should. There is the other camera wand which can get in closer but it does produce shadow when used directly over and doesnt bring the light any closer. I can see this working well for makup videos and people doing videos where they need to light themselves without creating shadows. The overall height adjustments seems more geared toward that use. The new 2025 phones used just with flash & food filter has proved more useful with less fuss. Besides the food application, I am using this to photgraph my coin and stamp collections with good success. The full coverage of light without glare from the flash makes this very suitable for this purpose and the phone being held in the holder and zoomed is easier to take pictures that are not blurred from shaking hands ..where small movements in zoomed state ruin the shot. The game changer was really using a cake riser and raised charcuterie board to bring things closer to the light!! If you are taking pictures of food or coins or anything down ward having risers of different heights is a game changer. Its reduced my shots of items down to the bare minimum instead of taking 10 and deleting all the bad ones. Overall, i am enjoying using this and finding uses for it. The food pictures with the new phones is often more handy but we will be trying again using the new phone and the ring light together our first attempt was with and older phone and the ring. For photos of coin collections where details are important and the flash really unpredictable this has been a gme changer (with riser no need for flash and minimal zoom is a plus ) I am happ with this product your individual use of it will determine how you feel about it. It s definitely good for somethings and possibly more trouble than its worth for others so far.

What I like most about this "Ring Light with Overhead Phone Mount, Phone Tripod with Light, Overhead Camera Mount, 11”Circle LED Desk Ring Light with Clamp" is how well the lamp and clamp stay in place as well as how various key parts of this lighting setup are adjustable. What I like least is the general assembly, which I found overly confusing and unclear I found the assembly sheet (which could be a "me" thing, but thought I'd mention it). Also, I would have hoped that this unit would have come with a power brick, but it doesn't and so I had to scrounge around to find one to work with it.I also like the lighting choices, which can be warm, cool or neutral as well as adjust how bright or dim I want the light. There's two phone clamps, one on the main unit and then one on the adjustable arm, which I think makes this lamp product quite unique and certainly more useful for a wider variety of various situations and needs without needing additional setups. The remote control that powers the light is wired to the main long pole in which the ring light is attached. I like this wired feature so that I don't have to worry about losing the remote control, so for me it's a plus. I appreciate that I don't need any special tools to assemble this, as each portion has an easy-to-use thick plastic turning knob or nib.As far as the phone holders, they have good tension and it seems to me that this entire unit is well-built as well thought-out (except for the assembly instructions, for me anyway). Additionally, it's important to note that one will have to provide their own power brick for the included USB cable, as a brick is not provided. All things considered, I like this highly adjustable ring light clamping set quite a lot, despite my minor complaints. Thanks for reading.

I like this ring light. I love the flexibility; being able to attach the camera in different ways and adjust the light is very important. I love that it attaches with a clamp. I have had good luck using clamps, and I find they work well. I like being able to adjust the light. I chose this because I want to film myself sculpting figurines and my house is very dark. The instructions weren't super clear, but it went together fairly easy. I do wish it came with a power brick. The problem with USB is that it needs a computer nearby. Most houses weren't built with USB plugs. Overall, I like this ring light and do highly recommend it.
