Product Description:

Quick-release skewers use cam mechanism to secure the wheel on frame dropout. Our 145/185mm skewers is compatible with most regular bikes with 20" 22" 24" 26" 28" wheels.

A few tips for using the skewers:

  • It's important to make sure the skewers are tightened before riding.
  • Tighten the adjusting nut to make the lever face resistance to closing halfway through the swing.
  • Lubricate the cam if the lever moving is sticky.

very disappointed because I needed longer skewer, at least 175mm. These are advertised as 145/185mm, but the rear skewer is only 167mm (length of stem itself after inserting the concave clamp part). Front skewer is only 130mm (stem length after inserting the concave clamp), not 145mm. The picture in the advertising is correct, and I should have known better. Otherwise they work.

Fits well. I only needed a spare QR skewer for when my bike is secured to a fork-mounted bike rack. This did the job as it was inexpensive and an attractive color. I will say that the title and photo of the listing had me thinking that I was getting 3 pairs of QR skewers for just $8.50 which, of course, is not the case. This is a great price for one pair.

These seem to work just fine. I'm not a bike expert so I'll leave it to those guys to determine build quality and subtle differences between brands. For me, a beginning biker who bought a used bike missing the cap from one of these, the most important thing was how easy it was to switch and that the part not fail. Success on both counts!
