I had to return another item because cable pull was only 10mm. This genuine Rockshox pop lock pulls 17mm and will lockout fork .

Se me rompió el mando de bloqueo original que traía la suspensión, y este es exactamente igual. Funcionamiento perfecto, calidad ROCKSHOX. Quizás la funda del cable sea un poco mas larga que la que tenía, pero no afecta en nada.

The DT Swiss remote that came with my bike was GARBAGE from day one, I even bought another brand new one thinking maybe the one that came with my bike was defective, but no some HORRIBLE Swiss engineering .... anyway this Rock Shox remote is amazing and huge improvement .... First time I can actually and reliably lock the rear shock.

Does not come with the parts for the fork. My lockout just got damaged so this was a replacement. I had to take everything off the left side of the handlebars to install so it took 10 minutes. I attached it to the handlebars in the position I wanted, ran the housing/cable to the form lockout, ran the cable into the proper position and righted down the cinch bolt, cut the cable to length and done! Youtube it if you need more details! Use zip ties to tidy your cables.

I think it is a right hand kit because once it was installed ( with the logo facing right-side up) the thumb button was on the opposite side of the lever. Every time you push the button , the lever hits your thumb. Not enough big deal to return.

My new and originally specified Pushloc remote on my Specialized Crave broke after a few months of steady care and use. It originally was installed with a Rock Shox Reba Gold 32 fork. However, this is a down grade from such a component, so why did I buy this? The original remote's engagement system mysteriously stopped working after I replaced the inner wire in it. It was probably my fault for faulty work, and I wasn't happy with the result. From then on, the remote eventually seized and did not unlock. It was stuck in the locked position for a while.I came upon this (thanks Niagara) prior to the remotes breakage and remembered it long after. I purchased it, and waited. Shipping took a while (a week), but with patience and the USPS's pace, I finally received it 3/31.Boy, did I miss out on such a product. The function (IMHO) is very simple and seems easier to deal with when it malfunctions as opposed to the original remote. Although it is constructed from plastic, the function is definite and simple. Push the lever to unlock, push the button to lock, it's literally that easy. Also, it is lighter than the original aluminum constructed remote, this lever has plastic material which is lighter. It also reduced the look of bar clutter because it is quite small. However, the only con about this is the mentioned plastic construction. Update: I went to the trails today (4/5/15), and it functions well. I still have to adapt to its operation, but it's still great to use. I really (still) cannot judge its durability yet. There is a tiny amount of play in the lever, though. Not such a big problem. Also, the packaging did not come with instructions. However, based on common sense and the bike mechanic's knack, I installed it professionally in a timely manner. All you really need to do is remove the shift and brake levers from the left side of your handlebars, , remove the old remote, slide the new remote on, inner wire attached, and slide on the shift and brake levers. After this process, cut the Poploc's provided outer cable to length, pop on some ferrules at one or both end(s), slide in the inner wire, guide through cable mount and the spring loaded dial, and tighten the little clamp onto the wire. Give the Poploc a test pull, and cut the excess wire at an adequate length and put an end cap on it.The housing was a bit bulky (5 mm.) for my preference, so I used some Sunlite friction shift lever housing (coil lined like a brake housing, but thinner, at 4 mm.), instead. There is definitely more accuracy in the lever pull with this setup. I also pre-lubricated the liner with some FINISHLINE Dry Teflon lubricant, which increased the accuracy and ease of lever pull as well. The inner cable provided is stainless steel and slick, so the operation, again, is smooth.I recommend this component for Poploc upgrades or ease of simplicity. I really like this lever, I really do. Thanks Niagara Falls Cycling!Update, 4/17-18/15.I have completed a series of rides to test its operation. On one training "fun ride," I slipped and fell on my hardtail as I turned right on a fairly loose over hardpack switchback. However, the Poploc is installed on the left hand side of the handlebars, so no damage was seen at all
