Works well for a great price. No software issues, but the paper doesn't stay aligned, leading to tilted or cut off prints. Also, getting to the blade to tear labels required pulling the paper forward, which then has to manually be pulled back to start the next label near the top. Very easy to set up. Don't use this for high volumes because it will start printing across 2 labels, but it works good for one label at a time.

This printer is solid, I ran it through a bunch of labels and it was fast, accurate, and relatively quiet.It worked with Etsy, UPS, and FedEx platforms no problem - and I typically print those from my laptop anyways, but others at the price point offer more connectivity options - namely Bluetooth. That being said, some of those other models have been less reliable for me - print quality issues, connectivity issues... at least hard wired - you know its going to print without hassles. I would recommend for anyone who's got an establish print process from a computer - though it would still be nice to see Rongta add Bluetooth to this tried and tested platform.

Like most of us, I do have a printer that does a fine job of what I ask of it. But for shipping labels, I have to print off a page of paper, cut it down to size, and then tape it to the package. But not just on the outside. Experience has shown me that print on my printer will stand up any weather. If it gets even a little wet, it becomes unreadable. I have to completely cover the "label" with clear packing tape, to make sure it is protected! That's a lot if you are shipping even a few different packages!It is great having a secondary, compact printer to deal with smaller printing needs. Like making labels! And not have to fuss with them! This is simply great!I find the build quality to be very good. No sharp edges anywhere to poke me or cut me. In fact, all the edges are smooth and nicely contoured. It even looks good! A single, huge "power on" button is the only visible control on top, so it has a wonderful minimalistic look. And I have to mention, it has four of the best quality of rubber feet on the bottom! This mini-printer really stays where it's put!As for print quality, the unit can produce a quality of 203dpi. To be honest, I thought that to be a bit on the "light" side, but I was wrong. The print quality is excellent. The characters are sharp and crisp. The black is nice and black - not with shades of grey. I guess the best compliment I can make, is that the quality is fine enough for accurate bar code use. That's pretty good!I agree with a few other reviewers, that bluetooth connections would be great, but then that would add to the costs. I don't mind the cable...I like the fact that when you open the lid of the unit, you will find a Test Sheet, that went through prior to shipping. It tells me the unit was working when it left, and all the various setting it is currently using. In fact, you might want to keep that label and fix it somewhere, because it has informant like the model number, serial number, version, etc, etc.The unit does not come with any label materials to test, but I am finding my local office supply store is well stocked with several different sizes and manufactures.Bottom Line - It's now very easy to make different sized labels. High quality with a small footprint!

Works well! Ink is reliable, works fast and is easy connect. It is pricey, but good value for the price. I'd recommend to someone wanting a shipping label printer but not wanting to spend over $200.

This Rongta printer works well and gives me decent results. I like the auto label detection feature and it's a useful tool for any small business. I also like that it's compatible with both Mac and Windows systems. The print quality is good and the device itself seems quite well made. A welcome addition to my setup.

I have bought this little printer a bunch of times for different clients. The thing is made to last, even if you break it by mistake it doesn't cost very much. it prints quickly it prints well it prints consistently.I am a business consultant that teaches my clients how to save money and this little printer works just as well as a $700 label printer that you would buy and many of the office supply locations.
