I researched this like crazy before I pulled the trigger. The mixed reviews almost got me. I looked at about 15 different brands from cheap to the expensive roll up models from BakFlip. I actually had one of those covers on a truck 8 years ago. I liked it but never loved how it looked rolled up. I decided on this one because I had some experience with Rough Country parts and haven’t had any issues. I also like how easy it looked to remove.I’m in love with this cover. It looks great. It flips up great. It was easy to install. For once in my life, I watched an install video before I dove in. I was trying to see how easy it would be to remove completely when I pull the gladiator behind my motorhome. This video time made installation take less than an hour.I pretty much only review when something is a 1 or 5. I only give 1s when the reviews are good and I think it’s a lie, and opposite for the 5s.Don’t hesitate. I’ll come back and change if function sucks, but I really don’t see any issues that could come up.

I really wanted to like the "PRICE" of the Rough Country Hard Folding Tonneau Cover, but after just 60 days, I regret this purchase. First off, it doesn’t line up correctly, making installation more difficult than it should be. I managed to get it mounted, but it never fit quite right. It "worked" at first, but now, one of the four brackets that secure it to the truck bed has completely fallen off. Keep in mind—this bracket is inside the bed, not exposed to the elements, yet it still failed. The metal used for these brackets is cheap and weak.Because of this failure, I can now lift the cover from the cab side of the truck, which completely defeats its purpose. Worse yet, the security design is awful—someone can easily reach into the bed with the tailgate locked and simply pull the release cord to open it. That means this cover offers almost no protection for anything stored in the bed.Compared to my previous BAK Flip cover on my Silverado, which lasted over three years with zero issues, this one is a complete disappointment. If you’re looking for durability and security, this is NOT the cover for you. Spend a little more and get something that will actually last and keep your gear safe.

Great product for the price that is comparable to the higher price brands. Don't overpay for another tonneau cover brand when this option works perfectly well!

Rails are nut cut correctly to fit the sides of the bed. The cover is too short and not wide enough. Do not purchase for a 2020 gladiator. Returned.

Overall fits nicely, however the holes for the carriage bolts which attach the top to the rails were off by 1/4" on each side, requiring drilling through the rails. Rails are sturdy enough to take it, but was a lot of extra work. also hardware to secure carriage bolts was too bulky to attach to the provided bolts. Took a trip to the local hardware store to get the bolts that would fit.

So it does fit the Jeep Gladiator but isn’t perfect. I understand it’s not custom made to fit it so no big deal there. It was a pain to get it all lined up but at least all the mounts and everything are simple and fairly easy to adjust. It was also annoying that all the install videos I could find were using different parts than what I received so it took a little bit to figure out exactly how it fits together. Instructions aren’t the greatest in the detail department. There are small gaps at the front that will let some water in but I can probably use the excess foam strip to double up near the corners. Seems to be of good quality and sturdy though. Latches well if you have it all lined up. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. Can’t complain too much about a universal fit product. May have been easier to install and line up with a second pair of hands. Also, unbolting the standard clamp brackets and replacing with the other ones did require a ratchet with extension and 10mm socket. Not a problem for me, just throwing it out there because it’s an additional tool not included. The included wrench doesn’t have room to turn the nuts. Also a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the backend closure brackets.

Better than expected. I needed a temporary cover and as I have come to trust Rough Country products, $200.00 seemed like the perfect price point. The installation looked harder in the video than it actually was and from opening the box to fully installed took me 40 minutes, by myself. It fits very well, it is sturdy, it is quality material and it adds to the looks of my Gladiator. I am impressed and happy.
