This speaker has dual woofers and a middle tweeter horn. The sound is rich and very clear…truly remarkable. The speaker enclosure is very well made and also very stylish. It has a removable front grill, a nice touch. The acoustics of the speaker are impressive. It is very responsive at all frequencies. The sounds are simply great…very clear, with well defined bass and rich highs.This speaker is intended to be used as a center speaker in a home theater, and it performs admirably in that role. I also tried using it as a single speaker for a monaural hi-fi system I built, and it sounded wonderful…much better than the speaker I had been using. As a further test, I added it to an existing stereo hi-fi system, using a stereo-to-mono summing circuit, basically using it as a center speaker for the hi-fi system, and it sounded fantastic. Finally, I connected it to a guitar amplifier, and once again, the responsiveness was great. This is my second speaker from this company and I continue to be impressed with their excellent quality and workmanship. This speaker easily earns 5 stars.
