Unless the "Nordic Pure 9x11x1 MERV 12 Mini Pleat Filters" is substantially less expensive, I recommend purchasing the "Santa Fe 9 x 11 x 1 MERV 11 Filter 4030671." The Santa Fe filter is what originally came in by Dehumidifier and it has 58 pleats vs. the 25 pleats of the Nordic Pure. Also, I think the MERV 11 rating of the Santa Fe is better for filtering outside air (mostly dust an pollen); the MERV 13 or MERV 12 ratings of the Nordic Pure is too high for outside air because it is more likely to plug before reaching the filter change interval (especially given the reduced filter surface area due to having fewer pleats.)When I originally purchased this Nordic Pure Mini-Pleat filter, the cost was about $10/filter. It's now about $30/filter for the Nordic Pure MERV 13 Mini-Pleat and $22/filter for the Nordic Pure MERV 12 Mini-Pleat. The Santa Fe MERV 11 Mini-Pleat filter is about $25/filter. Compare prices and get the Santa Fe if it has a similar cost.My Trane HVAC system has an Envirowise EDHUM 70V Dehumidifier / Ventilator with an internal filter. The manual says to check the filter every 3 months and recommends replacing it every 6 months. The original filter has a part number of 4030671. This filter is a min-pleat design, meaning it has about 58 pleats across the face of the filter.FYI, the purpose of the Encriowise 70V is to bring in fresh outside air into the house due to new houses being so tightly sealed. , If that air is humid (in the summer) it will dehumidify the fresh outside air. It can also be used to dehumidify recirculated inside air.These filters appear to also be replacements for the Sylvane Ultra-Aire 70H Dehumidifiers. I think it works well? Since it is under the house where we don't go any more, it is hard to tell a true story, but it was sure a lot cheaper to buy and I like to save money.
