II. Operating Steps
1.Connecting the Hard Drive:
- Connect the SATA interface of the Easy Drive Cable to the SATA interface of the internal hard drive.

- Insert the USB interface of the Easy Drive Cable into a USB port on the computer.
- If the computer has multiple USB ports, please choose a stable one with sufficient power supply.
3.System Recognition:
- The computer will usually detect the hard drive automatically and install the necessary drivers.
- In the operating system, open "My Computer" or File Explorer to check if a new hard drive letter appears.

My sata ports are all occupied, and i needed to mount a SSD i used for the boot drive for my previous pc. I plugged in my 10+ year old SSD and it instantly regained the device. I needed it to recover some old source code, to reuse for another project. I feel it preforms at or above the speeds I expected when the drive was new.TLDR; It works better than the sata raid it was previously in.

This product worked fine at the beginning, but stopped transferring data within a couple months. Needed to be replaced (which vendor happily did), but then even the REPLACEMENT stopped working. Apparently, not well made.
