I’m trying my hand at making sausages, so I opted for this smaller maker as an affordable way to explore the craft. I figured that if I ended up not enjoying it, I would not have spent too much money. Unlike the pricier sausage attachment for my mixer, this one seemed like a great entry-level option at a reasonable price. It’s very simple to use, and although it doesn’t come with a set of instructions, it’s easy to assemble and fairly self-explanatory. Since it’s a smaller machine, you won’t be able to make large batches quickly, but because I’m only making small batches, it’s perfect for my needs. In conclusion, it’s the right size for me, easy to use, reasonably priced, and beginner-friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

This tool gets the job done for quick sausage-making sessions, with a straightforward setup and effortless cleanup when you’re done. Pushing the meat into the casing can feel a bit awkward—it’s just the nature of the form factor. I found myself holding it against my body while using both hands to work, but for a couple of pounds, it’s easy to manage. If you’re aiming for larger batches—5, 10, or more pounds—you’ll definitely want a bigger machine.

Now to find some vegetarian casings to stuff with homemade chicken and beef! I am not a fan of pork and lamb casings, and it is hard to find sausages in the store that aren't encased and such.As well, Rarely do I find sausages in the grocery store that are organic AND affordable. I wanted to start making my own sausages to save money and to know the ingredients going into it are the best for my health, conscience and that of my family.Excited to try this, will update when I get around to making some sausages.

I like to make stuffed shells, manicotti and cannelloni and usually use a baggy tip with the end cut off to fill the noodles...which works ok but isn't ideal. This tool is perfect for stuffing noodles though. The large barrel easily fits the stuffing mixture and the longer tip helps to place the stuffing easily into exactly where I want it in the noodle. The device is made of sturdy plastic with 3 tips and a plunger and its easy to push down to eject the filling without taking too much effort. After using, the pieces come apart for easy washing up.I'll plan to buy another one of these for baking. This is big enough to be able to easily fill a cake with fillings or whipped cream. Good tool to have around the kitchen!

Well made for the price and gets the small jobs done. It worked well for my first time trying to make venison sausages (small batch).

First off I want to start by saying this is plastic and basic which is what I expected so it gets 5 stars. This is not meant for large quantity stuffing. As I said it is made out of durable ABS plastic. It holds about 1# to 1.5# of sausage. It comes with 3 stuffing horns that would fit standard casings for traditional breakfast links, traditional sausages, and then traditional sausages with add ins.Being ABS plastic it is very easy to clean and easy to use.Overall, I would highly recommend especially if you want to stuff some sausages while camping...this would be perfect!

For occasional use and small batches 5 stars, but for bigger jobs it can be tiring. It's sturdy and easy to clean, and the price point is perfect.A loose mix extrudes easier; mine was stiff because of the cold temp I was working in. The barrel can be a challenge to hold on to with greasy hands. The technique I used was to brace the lip of the front against the counter so that I could push against it. Having a helper's pair of hands around helps too.I'll definitely use it again, but for smaller jobs.
