Works fine, but Scotty does not have attachments for all their products on this base. As an example you cannot mount a rod holder, or the pot pulling pulley, without an additional adapter. Wouldn't be necessary if they standardized their attachments and bases like this one with the same screw hole patterns.Otherwise the quality and usefulness is good, was able to customize a bit for my specific install.

These rail mounts have worked perfectly for me for 2 full salmon seasons now. Takes a little bit of work to get the wooden brace piece measured up and installed but nothing the average person can't take care of in under an hour. They are simple to put on and take off and are the perfect option for those of us that have no other options due to the railing design of the boat.
