Seemed to work great for a while but the camera failed at 8 months and now the whole screen won’t light up, only about one in 20 times I open it, then sometimes it’ll shut off suddenly anyway. It’s 9 months old. Waiting on a replacement now and will lose more time switching them out. This time I bought product insurance.

Worst replacment screen!No auto brightness and keyboard backlit stopped working because its paired to the ALS.Hinges are flimsy and when you close the screen it won’t turn on withought force shutting the mac.Tools provided stripped the screws and now can’t take it off for return!

the installation was easy enough (took me a little over an hour) but after a few months the screen has discolored pretty terribly despite no damage and it was never as bright as the original, but now it has gotten more difficult to see various parts of my screen/ might be worth it to buy a different screen replacement if you can afford a better quality oneI came back to give a 1/5 star review since the hinges are completely broken after 3 months. It was installed properly but the hinges have no tension which has affected the flexgate issue and the backlighting on the screen replacement. Better to get a higher quality replacement

The quality of the display is great, perhaps even nicer and more vibrant than the original one. Well packaged for protection and includes all the tools you'll need.Installation was tricky but doable - pay close attention to the order of the tiny screws you remove as some are get similar but not exactly the same. There are some good video tutorials on you tube.

After less than a month of installing it, it completely cracked on me from the inside. I had just lifted it up to open my MacBook Pro only to have it completely brake on me.
