This kit had everything we needed for a crab boil night! The tools are sturdy and well-made, especially the crab crackers and seafood scissors. Easy to grip and use—even for kids. Came well-packaged in a compact box and bag with each tool protected. For under $20, it’s a steal! Great gift idea for seafood lovers too.

These crab shell cracking tools are really convenient, coming in a little carrying pouch and providing more tools than I usually bother with. The red forks don't seem very durable in the long run and the scissors feel a bit lightweight and cheap, but everything else is pretty solid quality. The main clamp/cracking tool has more heft than I expected for a home-use set. Overall a pretty good package deal - might make a good gift.

Affordable and really useful two person set. The scissors are prob the best part of this set. Made crab legs immediately and the set made my eating experience super easy and enjoyable. Nice little velvet bag included.

I bought this seafood tool set for a crab dinner with friends, and while it did the job, the overall quality feels pretty cheap. The lobster crackers are lightweight and feel like they might snap if you use too much force. They worked fine for crab legs, but I wouldn’t trust them on a large lobster claw. The seafood scissors were surprisingly decent — sharp enough to cut through crab shells easily — but again, they feel flimsy and I’m not sure how long they’ll last. The picks and forks are functional, but very thin and bend easily if you're not careful.

This is a great assortment of shellfish tools! Everything works extremely well, even the scissors. I wish the crab crackers were a little heavier duty but for the price point I think they are more than adequate. The lobster shellers are the only thing plastic but honestly they are very sturdy and we haven't had a problem with them. We've used everything multiple times and ran them through the dishwasher with no issues. For the price they are one of the best values around! It even comes with a little drawstring bag so you can keep everything together.

I just used this little kit on a lobster tail. I’m pleased to say that it exceeded my expectations. I had a couple of large lobster tails, that, for some reason, had excessively strong shells and spines. I was literally dripping blood the last time I ate one of these. In truth, they frightened me a bit. . I ordered this set knowing that I’d have to defrost those remaining two lobster tails pretty soon.Today was defrost day. I unwrapped my new set of lobster tools and was ready to go.At first, the scissors seemed flimsy. But I was wrong. I easily cut through the tail shells and removed the meat in one piece. Success!I also used the picks and they did the job well. The whole set comes with a little storage bag. That’s handy for me because we won’t use them often but will need all or most of the set when we do.I can recommend this set.

We love eating Crab and Lobster at home, but we don't have any tools. We got these.- Everything you would need for operating on shells, really.- The tools are all Stainless Steel, with exception of the red plastic ones.- Comes with a nice pouch, which is appreciated. These are similar to what you would find at a seafood restaurant. You get everything you really need here. The large stainless pliers are more than a bit loose, however I have no doubt they will do the job. The red plastic tools are very good quality plastics, however I wish the ends were a bit sharper, for the can opener effect when getting into Crab or Lobster shells. The scissors are really nice, and cut very well. After years of just sharing one nut cracker, and using forks, knives and other implements to eat crab when we cook it at home, this is going to be a welcome addition to our kitchen.Note: The ends of the 2 narrow stainless steel picks are a bit sharp and jagged. (see pic) It is probably a factory issue, but just to make it less likely to do accidental damage, I took a Dremel tool and filed those odd edges down using a diamond bit. You could do the same with a good metal file as well. Just adding this bit, in case yours arrive like this.
