I purchased this gauge for my 2020 Alumacraft Competitor 175. No trim indicator is provided in the standard gauge package. The silver one matched the existing gauges near perfectly. The backlight is an incandescent bulb.I thought the hook-up was easy. Sadly, the gauge didn't work when I fired everything up. My engine is a 2019 Mercury 150 Fourstroke and the sender on the engine is digital. In order to use this analog gauge, you'll also need a digital to analog converter from Mercury. It is Mercury part #8M0059529 and actually costs more than this gauge!
