The See All ICU7-MAG personal safety and security convex mirror with magnet mount is a circular, convex, PETG mirror with a 7" diameter, a magnetic mount, and an articulating arm. This mirror reflects a wide angle image at a diminished size to extend a field of view to help a person see around obstacles for safety, or monitor a wide area for efficient surveillance. PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol-modified) is shatter resistant, weighs less than glass, and reflects a clear, bright image. The mirror is attached to an articulating arm for flexible adjustment and a magnetic mounting device for temporary placement. The 7" diameter size is suitable for use in small areas and spot applications.

Safety mirrors are used to help increase visibility in a variety of locations; for example, in hallway intersections and sharp turns, and in driveways and loading docks where drivers have to back up or enter traffic. Safety mirrors are sometimes called security mirrors, and they can be used to extend the view of security personnel, or to help monitor factory workers and automated processes to improve quality control and productivity. For convex mirrors, objects will appear to be further away than they are, and will be easier to see in a larger mirror. Depending on visibility conditions and the viewer's eyesight, objects will usually be recognizable within about 1 ft. of distance (including distance from eye to mirror, and from mirror to object) for each inch in mirror diameter.

See All Industries manufactures safety and security mirrors. The company, founded in 1958, is headquartered in Chicago, IL.

Good mirror. But the arm needs to be longer. It’s being used on our tractor.

I ordered this for my dads tractor. He has difficulty turning around to see what is behind him when backing and has hearing loss so doesn’t hear if something approaches him from behind. It’sa Father’s Day gift and he is going to love it ! The magnet is incredibly strong. I had did getting it off a filling cabinet. I anticipate will work well for what he needs

I bought these for my tractor but they are useless because the mirror heads flop all over the place and cannot be held steady. Expensive junk. Although I can say that the magnets are strong.

The gooseneck is stiff and doesn't stay where you position it. The mirror moves as soon as wind hits it.Magnet needs to have a piece of felt glued to it or it will scratch the paint off your truck/bus.

The ring holding the mirror in place fell off as soon as I took it out of the box. It somewhat "pops" back together, but fell off any time it was re-positioned. Fixed it with hot glue and it's fine. Works as you would expect, but for $30+ it should stay in one piece if not handled roughly.

I ended up ordering a second one of these mirrors because the first one worked perfectly for our needs. I'm using these on a lift that we have in our 3-car garage. I attached the first mirror to one of the lift's posts on the driver's side in order to make it easier to guide a car onto the lift's ramp and rails. The magnet is very strong and the bendable neck made it easy to adjust the mirror's face just where we needed it. The size and clarity of the mirror give us a great view of where our wheels are on the ramp. It worked so well that ordered the second one. That one I placed on a post on the passenger side so when we pull our cars on and off the ramp we can now get a view of both sides. As of 1/7/2017, the price has gone up significantly over what I paid, but it was just what I was looking for. The combination of the strong magnet, adjustable neck, and mirror size really fit our needs.
