Exactly what I needed to create tankless water heater circulation flow throughout my 3 story house. Have one installed on a sink on each level. Like that they can be taken apart and cleaned, unlike the OEM Rinnai one that came with my heater.

Excellent. Far better than the original.

This works very well. I am quite pleased with the results. It allows almost instant hot water at the faucet relatively easily. It would be nice if it could be a little shorter. It is rather bulky quite honestly. Also a lot of fittings instead of one single piece. Wish it were a single piece .. that would make it more compact and less prone to leaking.

I’m using only the valve since it’s all I need for my system. I had big hopes for the valve but it makes my cold water way too hot throughout my house.

I've installed a Watts valve in my other home, and it's been working great for decades. Saw this metal one at a lower price, seemed like a deal. Except... can't get it to stop leaking. It's a plumbing adaptor with six threaded connections. The two top branched 1/2" NPT connector will not stop leaking, even with Teflon tape and torquing them stupid tight. Bad threads?Maybe I need to go back to Watts.Edit: turns out the threads will make up to hoses, but not to fittings... difference between NPT and IPT? So re-asrangr so that only hoses attach to the shuttle valve, and do any fittings on the other end of the hose.

I bought a Watts recirculation pump kit, that included a composite (plastic) bypass valve and 2 flex connectors (SS) and 2 pipe size adapters. The pump worked well, but the plastic bypass valve was a mess to install because its plastic construction quickly broke the threads, making it unusable. I never got it to stop leaking. In other words, the installation failed at the valve. Very frustrating.I looked at a number of other possible replacement valves, but couldn't reconcile the cost of purchasing something that was destined to fail because of flimsy material construction. And so a year went by.When this Zaiganma valve became available on Amazon for less than 50 bucks, I tried this one. The installation went fairly well - considering it was a plumbing project - and it works well so far. (note: I hate plumbing projects). Since the sink I was installing it beneath was more than 50 years old, and cramped, I really liked that the valve was stainless steel, making it almost impossible for me to strip the threads (note 2: I really really hate plumbing projects that require me to work in small dark places). The modular design of the valve meant I could piece the pipe parts together first, then insert and tighten the valve as a final connection without crapping out the threads. Much better design. Also, the modular nature of the valve assembly means I can -- if necessary -- detach the bypass part of the valve to clean it. (Old pipes mean there's a build up of rust that eventually will find its way to the valve, and require cleaning). So now it's in, (after a year of looking for the original plastic bypass replacement) and my partner is thrilled. And as a plumber, I'm vindicated and my partner thinks I'm a hero. Thanks Zaiganma! My marriage has been rescued.

The original valve stopped working. Bought this one because it was less expensive, but looked as though it was better made, I was not disappointed. it is made of metal, not plastic. Been using it for several months and it works as expected.
