I am still in the process of getting this unit installed. I know it says hire someone to install it, but I'm a electrician and just getting it all hooked up has needing going to utube to understand because the install instructions are not clear. There is no wiring diagram, and nothing about hooking up the thermostat, just info on how to use it, and a bunch of wires.

This is my second unit purchased and installed,1st was a 24k ducted unit over 1 1/2yrs and zero problems. No issues with installation. Bonus comes with the newer thermostat that actually reads and displays interior temp. Wish it had the wifi capabilities. (If you do some online digging people are modding them to have it) haven't tried it yet but unit has been running for 2 months now in 5 degree weather with no problems.

I have been super pleased with our Senville since I self installed it. The ducted version allowed me to properly heat and cool our whole 1k sf house in Maine. It has been super in summer and great in winter. I specifically wanted something without electric resistance backup so I could see how it does. All of that said it’s stated rating is to minus 22. I have noticed when we get around 5f it starts to fall off. It still runs great, just starts to struggle to maintain set point as output falls off. Support has been very responsive. I had to flip dipswitch one to improve accuracy of temperature setting

Great heat pump, excellent product, has been running. Would definitely buy another if I could afford it now

Installed this for three small bedrooms and while the unit operates great, the temperature swing is terrible. I have the wired thermostat set at 76 and once it hits it goes into rest mode until it reaches 82, then the ac kicks on again. There are dip switches in the unit and I have it set to the lowest setting, 2°c, which is almost 6°f. I submitted a support ticket with the manufacturer asking what the options are and received an email stating I'd get a response in 24 hours, it's been a week with no response. My ac guy has no idea. I also installed a Pioneer unit in the rest of the house and it's temp swing is one degree, it operates awesome, I chose Senville to save a few hundred bucks, if I had to do it again, I'd choose another brand.

I bought this unit almost a year and half ago. I installed it myself except a buddy came and vacuumed the hoses for me. He's a pro. Now: how awesome is this unit. First; I somehow accidentally ordered the "duct" head instead of the ceiling head. Senville exchanged it no problem. Due to work I installed just before winter. It is the only heat source in my admittedly small and very well insulated/sealed cottage. The unit has no problem heating the cottage. The outside unit is so quiet you can't hear it from the end of the driveway (about 30 feet away). And, in fact, my neighbours heat pump compressor is louder than my heat pump even though it's 100s of feet away. So the compressor is a real beauty. Now I have heat and cooling in my cottage, plus dehumidification (old cottages need this!). And one final story. The temperature for one night fell to -35C for about 6-8 hours. The unit (rated to -30) was still blowing warmish air so I ran a little fan heater for 2 hours to warm the cottage up a bit. That's it. We usually only see a few nights at -25; and even once at -28 it heated the cottage no problems. I am saving a tonne of money. And the ceiling head unit takes up none of my floor or wall space. Thanks Senville. Your service and the Aura are awesome.

After owning 3 of these units for several months now, I can definitely tell you to stay away! They were fairly easy to install (if you have the right tools). They worked well in the summer up to about 80 degrees. Over that they struggled. After a couple months, one started making a very loud noise. I called support and they told me to restart it and they would call me back in 30 minutes. I am still waiting for the call, 52 days later, and it’s still making the noise. The thermostat has a 3 degree +/- which means you set it for 70 and the room swings between 67 and 73 all day and night. I asked support and they said that is “normal”! They were working ok in the cold until it got down to 0 and they completely went to crap. Blowing out cold air and leaving my family to freeze. Luckily I have a fireplace and was able to save my family and my plumbing! Save your money! These are junk and their tech support is a joke!!!!!!!!!

I have a another mini split by a different manufacturer I wish I would have got this product first this unit is so quiet I have to make sure it still works so far it's cost-effective compared to my other brand that I have that next summer I will be switching out to this brand both units are the same BTUs the other brand when it goes into heat mode vibrates so bad that I think my building is going to fall down would recommend this to anybody
