I ordered the 2x11 and received the 3x11. the actual product seems ok, but I wish I had received the correct one.

It's harder to find brifters for 3x7 since my training bike is older. Although the rear derailleur brifter was for 8 speed, it really doesn't matter because it simply won't go to the lowest gear. The derailleur stops it at 7th cog and doesn't go any higher. I didn't have any trouble installing them and setting the indexing. I went for a 36-mile ride the following day with no issues.
