These work perfectly for my needs. Easy to install. The only hard part was making the holes in the container.

I do not love these vents enough to write a long review. So let me tell you what I think the Good and the Bad is.The Good:- Solid metal construction.- Decent size.The Bad:- Not as much VENT area as needed. The actual venting area is reduced about 60% because of the angle/size of the outer little "Awnings" that keep the rain out.- No instructions/Template.- Cost...Normally I don't consider cost at all in my reviews as prices change and people have different budgets. But when I received these they were over $50 for the pair, and now they are down to $40, and I still think that is too high for what they are. My opinion. I thought I wanted metal because it would be better and stronger than plastic, but then I noticed that the vents that CAME on my container are plastic, and have clearly held up fine. So based on cost I would look for plastic next time.Lastly, they a supposed to have bolts and nuts to install them with, but that will require a second person on the inside to help. We installed them with Rivets so it could be done from one side.So all told, they are not terrible, but not 5 stars either. I would not buy more unless they were $20 or less, or they let a lot more air through.

My shipping container is mostly in direct sunlight the entire day. I have an exhaust fan in the container but i felt like it needed a little more relief, so i got these vents! The vents are a sturdy metal and definitely let in enough air so the fan can work more effectively. Installation would have been easier if a template was provided. It was easy enough but could have saved me from extra cutting. The price is right and the performance is what i was looking for.

Product meets or exceeds description. Seems high quality, not yet installed, but cannot see how I would be disappointed. No bugs or rodents can defeat this item.
