I feel like they knew what I did not like about my other monopod and there are features I love but never even thought of like the removable function that is a quick release of the camera from the monopod. The carbon fiber is so much lighter and it extends much higher than my previous monopod. It really is stableon its 3 point base.

Very well built, easy to use. I’m 5 feet 11 inches and fully extended it works great for me. It also works well as a very low tripod using just the base and the camera connection. This is highly recommended if you need a monopod..

I’ve used many monopods and this by far is the best. I ordered it just for the fact I needed a good monopod without thinking the possibilities this one has had. Endless configurations for many shoot scenarios. The legs are sturdy enough to be used as a tripod and it’s useful for low or high shooting angles with the gimbal. Thinking of ordering a second one already!

I purchased the carbon fiber version, well worth the money. Very good design, easy to use. I love its versatility. Rock solid once set. It feels like military equipment. The device is ideal if you have to constantly pick it up and move around during your shoot. For panoramic shots, you can unlock the upper twist collar and get a full 360° panning option. You can also detach the pole and make a great tripod for low-level shots (product or wildlife shots at ground level).SIRUI support is also good. I accidentally dropped the monopod and the biggest flip lock broke. Both US and Canadian support were very helpful, responding quickly to any questions. Only the factory was a little slow, providing a new flip lock for the monopod. If you're looking for a solid, well-built and high-quality monopod, definitely consider the SIRUI P-325FL Carbon Fiber Camera Monopod. This monopod exceeds all expectations, I absolutely recommend it.

FINALLY -- an OUTSTANDING -- well built / well engineered / heavy duty / simple / rugged / durable carbon light monopod that is designed to hold / stand up to the heavy weights of professional grade DSLR "L" Series lenses when coupled with a heavy duty pro-level DSLR body. NOT to be left standing alone - never would do that - but when you are in the muddy fields / woods you need a BEAST (though light weight) to handle your pro-level DSLR. THIS IS IT... I researched literally for 2 weeks. Found reviews on YouTube et al -- and finally found one via Amazon UK (shipped from Poland - no issues via DHL - perfectly / professionally delivered). I could NOT be happier with this product. Highly recommend to all other wildlife / BIF photographers. OUTSTANDING !!!

:-) Klare Kaufempfehlung meinerseits.

Needed a tall monopod for use w/ super tele shooting birds up in trees. Based on reviews, had bought the Opteka CFM300 which is 1" taller & $20 less - big mistake. This Sirui has their usual very good build quality & feature set. And at a great price!-reversing solid 1/4"-3/8" mounting stud-smooth & positive leg locks-nonrotating leg-retractable spike foot-insulated foam sleeve- & something I haven't seen before, a built in belt clip on the strapFit & finish of everything is excellent. The only con is its longish min. length- 20.75".But I have mistakenly bought the very compact 6-section Sirui P-326 thinking 60" was tall enough. I got seduced by compactness. I'm 5' 11" & a 60" monopod is tall enough for shooting level to slightly up w/ small rigs. But its too short for use shooting up w/ long teles that have a tripod foot.

I'm not one to write reviews, but this monopod is SOLID and a great value to boot. After ordering an expensive competitor's 3551 monopod, I decided to give this one a try. This one is at least $145 cheaper, the same weight (if not less), and a literal tank -- total overkill for my 300 f/4 and 1.4x teleconverter.Relative to the European competition, this model is extremely stiff. It's not even close. The narrowest section of this monopod is almost twice as wide as the narrowest section of the European one, and the joints are solid -- no hinging or flex, again, unlike the euro-pod.The twist locks are about as smooth as the European counterpart, if not smoother, and easier to grip. The locking platform right below the head is extremely solid. The only downsides I can see are:Collapsed Size -- that this monopod is about 2 inches longer than the 3551 when fully collapsedFoam Grip -- could be glued a bit better -- really not much of an issueSpike-foot -- I wonder if after a lot of use, the rubber foot could wear down far enough that the retractable spike (very cool BTW) could end up slightly protruding even when retracted, potentially scratching floors if used indoorsFor my applications, the 324 may have been a better choice, but I'm paying practically no weight or cost penalty for the 424 model. What more can I say… The expensive alternative is going back, and I'm looking forward to years of service from the Sirui. For those wondering about height, I am 6 foot 3 and I have about plenty of extra length in this monopod above eye level when combined with a RRS BH-40.

I know that many people just ignore 1 and 5 star reviews but there is just no shortcoming that I can find here. The build quality is excellent. The ability to hold 55lbs is believable when you see it. It's overkill for me but still nice to have such a sturdy pod. The spike in the foot is a nice added feature and is well integrated and smooth. Every part seems well made and exceptionally well finished. There is virtually no plastic. I like the rubberized twist style leg clamps. They don't catch on clothing like some cheapo latch types and don't require numerous turns like the pinch style clamps. They require just a quarter turn approx. to loosen/tighten. It is very light in spite of its diameter. It isn't as short as the travel type monopods so keep that in mind if you need to pack it.To sum up: time will tell if this holds up as well as it looks like it should. But so far I feel like I stumbled across a bargain.
