This rope snatched out a loaded tractor trailer with a house package on it like nothing. 12,600 lb. Cummins 4 lock at 5 mph and done. At six years old no signs of wear and used many times.(( Be safe )) and get a high quality D ring hitch and never kill anyone with a flying trailer ball a must!

Massive rope. Looks like you could anchor a cruise ship with this. It’s super thick. Should work great for off road recovery.

This is 1 1/2 inch as stated on the product tag. The end have been updated with some type of impregnated coating throughout the yellow part of the rope that make the loop stiff and very hard too crush. I guess this is instead of the overlay black coating used in the Amazon pics. I saw people complain it did not have the black coating but thought it important to point out that it is not an uncoated loop. It's very light for size it is, and the storage bag is easy to load the rope and plenty of room for other accessories in the bag. First pic is of it stopped in the back of my Mercedes ML320. I own a couple medium duty trucks and opted for the larger rope as it's only $50 more for twice the strength.I'll update this review once I've had a chance to try it out. Hopefully as the puller and not the pullee.

The Smittybilt Cc122 Recoil Recovery Rope 1.25 In. X 30 Ft. should be used for recovering equipment/vehicles with solid capable recover points. This is my 6th pair of 1.25 x 30 ft. recovery ropes and the Smittybilt Cc122 seems to hold up better for long term use. It seems to resists fraying at the hitch/D-ring points and rebounds back to almost the same size with minimal stretch. Clean-up is easy and dries fast, it will rip the axles off a stuck jeep in East Texas Black-clay without breaking or fraying!

Use this rope to pull a front loader out of the mud, the chain snapped but the smittybilt rope was tough enough to get out. Loader weighs 35,000 pounds

Works perfectly and at an incredible price. I just pulled a Tundra buried to the frame in mud with my Jeep Cherokee XJ. The kinetic energy yanked it right out with hardly any drama. This 60k lb rope is total overkill for pickup trucks and jeeps, but I'll never have to worry.

Rope is great pull my buddies out without a problem. Pulling Toyota's so doesn't really budge the 60k breaking rating. Rope is massive could have probably went with an inch 7/8ths

Just received today, very large, the cc122 (as advertised above) is actually listed as a 1.5"x30ft on smittybiltdepot website, not a 1.25"x30ft. The actual measured (by me) circumference was 5.5 inches which is technically just over 1.75" diameter. Maybe the listed measurments are taken under tension? Or maybe I received a larger diameter, regardless no complaints here very heavy duty and sturdy feeling. And yes it fits in a 3/4 inch screw pin shackle. Also came with a carrying bag that I don't remember it mentioning. Very pleased.
