I think I’m more mad at myself that I just paid almost $60 for this thing! I need to have my head examined. I’ve seen stronger and longer lasting spray from a $10 solar bird bath fountain.After charging in full sun for 1 and 1/2 days, I put it in the pool with me. It gurgled, spat, then came up with about a 6” spout for almost a minute and stopped. For the 2 hours I was in the pool, it came one about 4 times, got to about a 6” spray of water for a few minutes then shut off.I never return stuff, but this is going back in the box tonite - I’m just mad at myself for spending this kind of money on it and now I’m going to have to eat the return shipping…Please folks - do not waste your money on this nonsense.

So I have had this fountain light in the pool for two days now. Albeit it has been a bit cloudy, but there has been enough sunlight to charge my solar lights outside the pool. The fountain only works in direct sunlight, if it clouds over during the day it stops and when it does work it only sprays about 12" high. I have a 24' round above ground pool, the lights at night are very weak and don't really project or cast much of an ambiance. I am hoping that a few days of strong sunlight will improve the functionality but I am not optimistic. One other thing that is frustrating is the size of this light is prefect in allowing it to get trapped in your skimmer, over and over again. I know I can tie it up but for me that defeats the purpose and I would have to be careful when my grandkids come over to use the pool. I really hope a few days of strong sunlight will make the price worth the product. I will post an update when the sun comes out.

Solar did not charge battery, even after sitting in sun for almost 12 hrs before use. Fountain only worked in full sun, if you put a thumb in a panel it stops. Fountain did not work at night at all like advertised. Lights did, but no fountain. Returned for refund and would blnit buy again, spray only went maybe 18inches, just enough to cover the plates as it floats, but not even close to as pictured. Think pretty bird bath with a small spray.

I have a 10’ round, 30” deep, above ground pool with a broken pump. I bought this hoping that it would aerate the pool so that it would turn to pond scum. Works as expected. It’s solar powered so doesn’t need electric or charging. Just leave it in the pool.

Update: Still working fine and actually has started spraying longer on very suuny days. It is refreshing to be sprinkled by it during the day, but I really love the colors at night. Stays on past my bedtime. I recommend tethering with a weight if you dont want to lose water or have it by the skimmer. Original post: It sprays approx 12 in above the water. It lasts between 1 and 2 hours when fully charged during the day. Works longer if full hot sun. The lights are pretty at night and as described and pictured in listing. Grandkids enjoyed it. Just take it out of the pool and the fountain stops. Put it in water and it starts when charged. We added a weight to keep it more in the center of the pool so we don't lose water. We will probably remove weight later when we are in the pool. It is pretty. Fountain works better than others I've used. Lights are pretty and easy to change mode. This company stands by product and has good customer service if needed. Would recommend this brand.
