Sorry to say that the videos of this product on the Audi forum and the product you will receive are not the same. The new product is too small for the opening of the old latch mechanism. It will not secure to the interior panel of the car and slips thru the opening. I reached out to the company to see if they sent me the correct part but no response. Since I was unable to find an alternative product I bit the bullet and installed the Southco Touch Latch. I had to make a couple of small modifications to secure it to the car panel and for not it seems to work. Only time will tell if it holds up very long. Alternatives to consider if your car has a broken latch would be to use magnets or a small velcro strip to hold the door closed.
