Using this in our machine shop. It is not on par with a interapid. Contact point needs to be constantently retightened as it loosens easily an has some side to side play in action. Needle action is more jumpy than some others as well. I does work as needed but will always go to an interapid for the delicate jobs or measurements. Sad that Starrett has dropped its reputation to make cheaper products.
