The Anvil repair bracket features a 4+ inch protrusion alignment bar, perfect for attaching to existing hollow posts or leg banisters.Support rod is welded in place and is not removable. Designed specifically for 1" x 1" square tube posts. Only works with hollow tube posts. It is made to repair and reinforce rusted or broken handrail posts, providing a safer and more functional home environment. There is no welding needed with this repair insert. Repair insert is 7" long on the repair length which allows for 3" into the concrete and a 4" space from bottom of rail to the concrete for code compliance. Drill 2 holes through Existing Handrail leg into the square bar inside. Use 2 pop rivets to secure repair foot;Clean out old hole from railing and recement in and you are done!
