It is advertised as steel wool, and it's exactly that. Steel wool. I'm not sure what to say about it, other than it good for removing rust and plugging holes you think mice are coming in through. Don't use steel wool outside to plug holes, or it will rust. These are pretty big rolls. Way bigger than I anticipated. Seems like a good deal.

I got this steel wool to use in my shower to try to help get the sealer off the tiles where whoever installed the tiles left penetrating sealer to dry on the tiles. Now they look like they have patches of shellac on them. I'm using these gently with a grout haze remover acidic compound and not getting anywhere with this. Will have to come up with plan B for that. But this steel wool is useful in so many ways. I tend to use it a lot to remove rust on different things. This is so much steel wool; I can't imagine needing any more ever. There are two large rolls of steel wool, and they threw in a pair of what feels like rubber gloves or maybe a heavier latex. The rolls are a little larger than the size of a saucer and it's rolled in a fairly thin layer, so it looks like a lot of steel wool to me. I appreciate the thinner layers since I tend to use a lot more steel wool than I need on projects just because it's easier to grab a pad of steel wool and go instead of dissecting it to the size I need. So, this will help with using it more sparingly.
