Each binding is 65" long, perfect for wrapping completely around a guitar body in one continuous piece. The smooth edges are manufactured with precision, not rough-cut from sheets, allowing for closer size tolerances and easier installation.

The #5792 extra-tall .565" binding is specifically designed for LPstyle and similar guitar tops, offering the right height and fit for your guitar building or repair projects.
Custom Binding Installation Tips
- Laminate strips using our Binding Laminator with .010” alternating black and white for a distinctive look
- Combine .020” black and .040” white strips for a two-tone effect
- Use .020” strips installed sideways as edge trim for clean and sharp results
For best results, use StewMac Bind-ALL Guitar Binding Glue, perfect even on oily tonewoods. Secure the bindings in place with Brown Binding Tape or Rubber Clamping Bands while the glue dries. Once set, trim the bindings flush to the wood with a Scraper Blade for a professional finish.
