Our kiln-dried ebony fingerboard has flat undersides, is unfretted (no inlays), and is supplied unprofiled (rectangular); you can simply cut it shorter to fit an A-style mandolin.

This slotted mandolin fingerboard features:

  • 13-7/8" scale length
  • Non-radiused, traditional flat playing surface
  • 29 fret slots

IMPORTANT: Ebony is usually not uniformly black. We recommend using black fingerboard stain, as used by Gibson®, Paul Reed Smith® and other makers for darkening the streaks on ebony fingerboards, bridges and peghead overlays.
