This practice pad was a great idea and you can stick it to almost anything. It’s got good rebound for sticks. If you’re trying to train the wrist and fingers though you may want a surface that is bit harder. That being said it will eventually lose some of the stickiness from multiple users and it’s a little expensive. 4 stars.

This product came well packaged and undamaged. It smelled like a factory, but once I got over that, it worked very well. The back sticks to anything and doesn't leave much of a residue. It can be washed to be restuck to something else. It has good rebound and a nice sound. Overall, this is a good on the go practice pad.

I grabbed this for my kid who does drum lessons and we are shocked at how nice it is. The response is great and it fits way better in his bookbag than a standard drum pad. It's great for practicing on the go. Thanks!

I love the small size and how much lighter it is than a regular pad since there is no wood substrate like a regular pad... No need to bring a stand since any table top will do. It has pretty good rebound action and the grippy back keeps it in place. For me the small size is truly a plus since it saves room and weight from my luggage while traveling. The pad is as described and pictured on Amazon - 5 Stars from m e

I’m glad I took the time to reflect before writing this review about the practice drum pad. Initially, I was ready to give it a two-star rating after my first impressions, but after some thought, I’ve come to appreciate its value in a drummer’s toolkit.First Impressions vs. RealityWhen I first unboxed the practice pad, it appeared to be small and, frankly, not particularly useful. The lack of bounce was frustrating, and I found myself thinking, “How can this help anyone improve?” However, stepping back from that initial disappointment allowed me to see the inherent benefits of this design.Positive Aspects of the Practice PadAs a beginner drummer, it’s easy to focus on speed and technique, especially when you’re eager to impress with your footwork. While this pad may not do much for foot speed, it really forces you to concentrate on your hands. The absence of bounce means you have to generate all the motion yourself, which is a great way to build hand speed. In fact, I’ve come to view this as an essential characteristic of the pad—it challenges you to work harder, and in turn, makes you a better drummer. Moreover, the size of the pad may be small, but it is a strategic advantage. It encourages new drummers to stay focused on hitting the center, rather than sprawling out their hits all over the drum. This focus on precision is crucial when developing a clean, controlled sound, which every drummer strives for.Versatile for All Skill LevelsTaking a step back, I realized this pad is not just for beginners; seasoned drummers can benefit as well. Whether you’re warming up or honing in on your hand technique, the pad provides a unique way to practice in a compact format. Its design helps drummers of all levels refine their skills without the distractions of more advanced equipment.Affordability is a PlusAnother aspect that deserves mention is the price point. The cost is quite reasonable, making it accessible for beginners who are just starting their drumming journey. Given its practicality and the value it offers in terms of developing essential skills, I’d say it’s a worthwhile investment.Final ThoughtsSo, after allowing myself the time to reflect on my experience, I’ve gained a newfound respect for this practice drum pad. It encourages focused practice, challenges you to improve your hand speed, and remains a practical choice for any drummer looking to refine their skills. It may not have wowed me at first, but it has certainly earned its place in my practice routine. I’d now confidently rate it a solid four stars, and I highly recommend it to drummers of all levels.

I am really impressed with this drum pad. The rebound from striking it with drum sticks is excellent and great practice for playing the real drums. It is also about as quiet as it gets for practicing on a pad. I had to put another layer of foam material on the old one to get it to be this quiet. This drum pad is way smaller than the old one that I have been carrying around as you can see from the pictures. Because it is so convenient to carry and quiet, it will be much easier and pleasurable to take with me and practice wherever I happen to be. The sticky back is also amazing. It sticks great anywhere and comes right up when you are ready to go. This pad does need to sit on top of a solid surface like a table, end table, or counter top to work effectively. The nice thing about the older and bigger one was that I could just set it on my lap or any piece of soft furniture to play around with it. So, they both have a use for wherever I happen to go, but this new one will go with me everywhere.
