Stopped heating after 6 months. Every Sunbeam electric throw, regardless of whether it was plush or not, stopped heating in less than a year. I have purchased 4 from Amazon since 2012 and countless numbers from other brick and mortar retailers. Probably poor quality wiring. Would love to find a good quality one entirely made in USA.

I've noticed through some trial and error that my sunbeam products quickly disentegrate. In the beginning they are soft, warm, beautiful and comforting. Over time they begin to stiffen and quickly grow shortages until they finally reach a malfunction. When you call sunbeam they are awesome offering to allow you to mail it back to them at your own expense (sarcasm) and they will return it in a matter of weeks. For an item that costs so little, I can't see it being worth the time and effort. Of course that doesn't mean I'llChoose to buy it over and over because that would be a complete waste of money. These blankets are great for temporary use like maybe a woman's personal time each month, but not as an every day solution. You'd be lucky to see 6 months from one.

I wish that the plug in to the blanket wasn't located where it is. They should have put this on the side of the throw and not at your feet where its harder to access. That being said the blanket warms up fairly quickly and does its job effectively.

Delivery was right on schedule despite the harsh New England weather we are experiencing. The heated throw is very nice. The fabric is soft and cuddley. If I put the setting on medium it is only for a little while as the throw warms up very quickly. The only complaint I have (and it really isn't even a complaint) is the throw is a bit larger than I expected. I would have prefered something a little smaller and that is the only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5.

I purchased this as a gift, the recipient loves it! It has 3 settings, the material is soft not cheapy feeling, but you can kind of feel the plastic "heated" material inside of it, not a big deal though. Heats up quick. I purchased this using amazon prime and it came on time as expected.

This arrived quicker than I had expected. It's pretty warm & cozy even without being plugged in & turned on. This blanket heats up super quick! To be honest I haven't used the Med or High setting because the Low keeps me warm enough. I got this originally to be a blanket for work (because its so cold!) but lately I've been using it on my bed. It keeps my side of the bed toasty! All-in-all I love the blue, love how soft it is, ..you can sometimes feel the wires through it but they don't bother me. It's large enough to be completely wrapped up like a burrito in!!
