The threads seam to be off just slightly. They jam up part way in, making it very hard to seat the parts together. Now for some reason, it can’t be returned…..love getting stuck with a $29 part that doesn’t work properly.

Its a sturdy extension and works with my Dewalt angle grinder with US type threads. But, I hoped that I could stack them one on the other to make a 4 inch extension. Well, the female thread side is recessed deep enough that the male part will not securely attach. So, I was disappointed in that regard. Seems like a redesign could solve that problem.

It works well as an adapter for a double sided pad on my rotary buffer (dewalt.) I believe the threads or too short for a regular backing plate to attach. As for it's other uses idk...🤷🏻♂️

The threads are too short to attach anything and the seating area is to small so support anything that I would normally attach to an grinder. In fairness to the manufacturer, I suspect these would work when using a grinding cone that comes with a female thread in it. That's not what I purchased it for...

Defective design the end threads shank not long enough - the extension fits my 5/8 grinder . But the extension itself thread shank not long enough to work cannnot even mount a then metal cutting disk - totally useless - returning do not buy does not work !

Works as it should, nothing fancy just does the job. Perfect for giving you enough space for your hands especially with a double sided wool buffing pad.
