If you want a sturdy straw that's a little more eco-minded these are perfect. They don't break down like paper straws, they might actually break down sometime in the next century, and they do their job! No weird taste as far as my family has noticed.

I made the conscious decision to stop using plastic straws, and I’m so glad I discovered agave straws! Straws are AMAZING. Sadly, Not Delivered in Box which Semi-Crushed Box of Straws. Just a Bit Short for Cup. I use straws with NutriBullet cups, and these straws are just an inch too short for cups. Lesson learned for next straw purchase...I need a bit longer straw.The box of straws came in a soft envelope which crushed the straw box. The straws were amazing, but box didn't hold the straws anymore. So, straws themselves are great, and recommend the straws. Shipping needs to rethink shipping packaging.

I was on vacation and the restaurant I ate at had these straws. I really liked how sturdy they are but not plastic. I think they can be processed in industrial composting. So, they aren't on the best bio-degradable end of the spectrum but they will degrade in a landfill in a year of so I think. I swing back and forth using these and straw, straws.

Where I live, plastic straws are banned, and the replacement is paper straws. When I found out about these, I was very excited and it proved by initial thoughts that they were stronger than paper straws, in fact very stable like plastic straws but are biodgradable. I am very satisfied.
