This vacuum head has no brushes underneath! Makes it kind of useless on a vinyl pool.

It is great for picking up larger items - like leaves and small twigs - but doesn't pick up the small items - like the items that come out of solution when using phosphate removers - like it's cousin pool vacuum does.

This has no brush so it probably will work better for you if your main concern is sand or leaves, but if you have an algae problem this might not be enough to get the job done.
