I shopped long and hard for my cat's new litter box. Thoroughly read the reviews for this box as well as several other boxes. Although many reviews commented about the "Door Flap" breaking, I selected this box anyway. The advance knowledge of the door's fragility caused me to use extreme care in the assembly. The plastic used for the top cover/ door flap is VERY rigid, and the hinge post broke almost immediately. I wanted a box with the door feature to reduce the odor, reduce liter scatter, and give privacy for my Big Boy. This is the primary reason I rated this unit at three stars. It would be better if these parts came assembled since it can fold flat. Too many had the same complaint.The box is somewhat smaller than I expected. Don't know that my big cat can move around with the top on. May end up returning it and shopping some more. Only have 30 days to send it back so I'd better decide soon.I like the additional parts that were included with this purchase. My cat has no problem using the step. The step and the mat are effective at getting litter between his toes to drop out. Would like to be able to store scoop on either end of the box.

Love this oversized pan. It accommodates my large cat, is easy to assemble and clean, and helps cutdown on litter being tracked from pan to floor. If you can’t afford a self-cleaning system, but are tired of fighting the stains and lingering odor from plastic pans, this is for you. Excellent purchase.

I like the overall design of the litter box. No more litter smell, my cats have their own privacy & I don't have litter everywhere around it's area. Came with everything. Easy set up. I would buy again/recommend to anyone.

I had this for a couple of weeks before writing a review. I would give it 5 stars; however, it's not "light litter" friendly. The litter is easy to clean off the box, but it sticks very easily. My cats weren't too fond of the step, but the height is completely fine for a cat to use without needing the step.

This sounds dramatic, but after having cats for my entire life and JUST NOW discovering this type of litter box, it’s been life changing. The litter doesn’t stick and our cats love it. We have two cats and there’s no smell ever. The size is perfect for them. One of my cats is small and the other larger and they both fit comfortably. The grossness literally just slides off. If I could give more stars, I would. It’s so easy to put together and the quality really is top tier. The accessories make a nice addition as well!

Soooo much room!!! The stainless steel base leaves no residue when scooping to clean. This is the best design ever!! There is very little litter that follows my kattos onto my floors.
