I really like these pedals. I have played drums for 23 years. I have a lot of gigging experience and use heel toe method. I replaced my Iron Cobra Power Glide pedals that have served me well for 13 years with these. Right out of the box they are adjusted nearly spot on for my playing style. They are fast, provide plenty of power for playing without mics, and immediately improved my heel toe accuracy. The pedals have great response and no slop in the slave side for me. The cobra spring gives me the rebound I need for fast single and double strokes, the long boards provide and the leverage and power you need. I could see how some may not like these because they are so quick and will bounce if you are not used to controlling pedals set up this way. I put a couple velcro strips on the bottom and they do not move around at all on my drum rug. I wish I would have bought them sooner. A little fine tuning of the springs and they will be perfect for me. Would recommend to any serious metal drummer.

This is the older version. The new version is much better. This is a good pedal but has a couple of issues. The new version fixed any problems this on had.

pro:The long board is incredible for heel toe movement.The case is amazing and the pieces look astoundingcon:when attempting rudiments such as para-didals they make a clicking noise.the hammer heads they come with ware vary easily.the small rubber pieces fly off.the lugs on the arm will slowly unscrew over use (while playing).Conclusion: Not for hard use or metal/progressive play such as tesseract, periphery, animals as leaders these pedals are more for jazz/rock i have had them for a while now and i just bought a pair of demon drives after snapping a spring and realizing that these just weren't made for the speeds i was reaching.Great pedals or beginner/intermediate, light players and heel-toe players

A friend of mine bought this double kick for me to use with my kit, and they were great, felt really smooth and fast. I'm not that great with them yet, but I'm improving.One of the issues i had with them, was that the tips are really hard and do a lot of damage, I wound up breaking a brand new drum head after a month of use. Just be warned, if you buy this double kick, be sure to pick up an evans patch for your drum head, it makes a massive difference.

This is the first time I've ever used double bass pedals, but as far as I'm concerned this was a good buy. Functions/articulates really well. Pre-warning- the pedals are big. This is mainly meant for people with bigger feet, but those who have smaller feet can use them too. How would I know? Well because I have small feet...lol shoe-size 8 1/2.

Had these pedals for about 2 months now and they have been brilliant until now, when i got these pedals they were perfectly smooth but the main pedal has started loosening, so when ever you use it it makes a sort of click sound before it hits the bass drum and makes playing somehow more difficult. apparently its fixable but it requires taking most of the pedal apart and tightening using the tiniest alankey which for some reason is not supplied where as a drum key is. Very frustrating to say the least. 2 stars purely because at this price its a insult that they require any sort of DIY. but extremely good pedals non the less

This is the first double pedal i have ever tried, so my opinion may be a little incomplete, but i can guarante you this product does what it offers!! the respond is really nice and the long footboard is a heaven to heel-toe users, also it allows to configure almost EVERYTHING, so if you want a setting to adapt your style, you can just simply do some screws and its DONE!, the only thing i didn't like much about the pedal is the beater, it got "deformed" in less than a moth of use so i cant use the "Flat / Thin" Angles or Sides, but since its working as it should this product deserves its 5 stars.
