Perfect for what I needed. Popped the top off and shortened it a few inches with my hacksaw. Put the top back on and good to go. Fits snug. No leaking.

Fit very tight and shouldn’t be easy for bait to push over. A bit expensive for pvc pipe but good luck finding that rubber end you need to make one yourself.

The tube and grommet are well made and sturdy. The screen was flimsy and obviously was not going to last. I cut off the tube as high as my bait well would allow and then drilled 1/4 " holes around the diameter down to where i wanted the bait well to overflow.

Just what I needed to reduce water level in my live well, even if it is grossly overpriced for a piece of pvc, a fitting and screen. Bought it last year for $18 and thought that was expensive.

The 18in is the length of the tube once it is installed...I had measured my old tube and the total length was 18 so i had to cut the new tube down a couple of inches.The top screen piece is not glued in so the modification was easy.
