M2.5x0.45x2D
M2.5x0.45x2D:
M2.5 (means that the inner diameter is 2.5MM, that is, the screw used is M2.5) * 0.45 (refers to the installed pitch of 0.45mm) * 2D means that the length after installation is twice the diameter (2.5*2=5mm ).
M3x0.5x2D
M3x0.5x2D:
M3 (means that the inner diameter is 3MM, that is, the screw used is M3) * 0.5 (refers to the installed pitch of 0.5mm) * 2D means that the length after installation is twice the diameter (3*2=6mm ).

Drilling
- Note that the hole cannot be drilled into a tapered shape, and the chips generated by the hole must be blown out with compressed air.

Tapping
- Use special taps for wire thread inserts to tap. The depth of tapping must exceed the installation length of wire thread inserts; the threaded holes after tapping are blown out with compressed air spray guns.
- When the thread accuracy is high, check the tapped bottom hole with the special bottom hole plug gauge for the thread screw sleeve.

Installation
- Put the wire thread insert into the hollow slot in the middle of the installation wrench, insert the wire thread insert mounting tail handle into the guide rod groove of the mounting wrench, and turn the mounting wrench handle to screw the wire thread insert into the screw hole.
- Note: During the installation and screwing process of the wire thread insert, there should be no pressing action in the vertical direction. The correct method is to slowly screw in the thread rotation direction.

Break the Installation Handle
- Use a breaker to break the mounting tail handle. Use about 200g of coconut to hit the breaker instantly and the tail handle can be removed.
- Be careful not to use the installation wrench to rotate in the opposite direction.

Advantage
- Wire thread inserts are used in various low-strength materials, which can greatly improve the durability of screw connections and avoid damage to the connecting threads.
- Due to the certain elasticity of the wire threaded sleeve, the load distribution on each circle of the thread can be more uniform, and the pitch and thread deviation between the screw and the screw hole can be eliminated.
- The locking type wire thread insert can lock the screw in the threaded hole, so that the screw will not loosen when subjected to shock and vibration, and the process performance is better than the usual locking device.
- The hardness of the wire thread insert is higher than that of the screw, so it is less worn during the assembly and disassembly process of the screw connection and can be used repeatedly.

Use
- Enhance connection strength and improve connection conditions. Low-strength materials such as aluminum and magnesium are selected for wire thread inserts, which can avoid slippage and wrong teeth, and obtain excellent connection performance.
- Prevent loosening. Used in frequently disassembled parts, it can greatly improve the service life of threads.
- Increase the bearing surface. It is used for parts that require strong connection force and cannot increase the diameter of the screw hole.
- Easy to maintain. Install the damaged screw hole into the steel wire screw sleeve and continue to use it after repair to avoid the possibility of damage to the workpiece.
