I purchased this item and it fixed the chair but after less than two months it needs replaced again. This is definitely a lower quality than the original item which lasted many years.

This item was installed recently. (In the last two Weeks.) It is already starting to fail. What use is it if it does not fix the problem it was designed for? Cheap is cheap, garbage is garbage. What else can I say? Buy a different brand of recliner, they might provide a better product. La Z Boy is not what it used to be.

Recliner mechanism broke when our dog tried to jump in my lap. Thought I would have to call someone in to fix it.Found this and discovered it was easier to fix than I thought it would be. Just scope it out and follow the instructions and your recliner will be good as new.Saved us a bunch of money.

I was amazed to find the part and how easy it was to install. You will need a 3rd hand to help. The shipping was was really fast and price was okay.
