The ergonomic handle on the Thurso Surf hand pump can be disassembled. It is easy to pack and transport.
Foldable Base
The hand pump's base is foldable, making it considerably easier to transport. The base's width is lowered from 12 in to 7 in.
Aluminum Tube
The SUP pump's tube is made of aluminum material, which is very sturdy and durable. The aluminum tube increases inflation efficiency. It will last for a very long time.

I tried this pump for the first time tonight. It is defective. I could after the first 15 pumps air was escaping the pump after switching it to medium and high pressure settings. I double checked it on my friends inflatable, same thing. Such a let down.

In one of the photos it says “aluminum tube” giving the impression the pump tubes are metal. It’s only the small tube between the two large ones that is metal. Could have easily justified the price if it was all aluminum. Haven’t used it yet but I’m sure it’ll work well regardless.

I have 2 SUPs to pump to 10+psi. To speed things up, I have a battery powered pump to fill the bulk of the SUPs (before any pressure is added). Then I use this hand pump to add in the pressure. This hand pump is much faster at adding the pressure than the powered pump. If I can only take the hand pump or the powered pump, I would take this hand pump. It is also much better than the hand pumps that came with the SUPs. One of them started failing after the second use.

Love this pump. Blew up my SUP in no time with minimal effort. You get what you pay for. This pump looks sturdy and well made, love it, thanks!
