Product Description

Introducing the 114mm Variable ND for the Mirage Pro Matte Box

This filter was developed in collaboration with top tier optical manufacturers to provide the same performance as our smaller 95mm version.

Using updated PL + CPL technology, this VND Filter can produce accurate colors throughout its density range while supporting lenses up to 114mm.

The Variable ND can be gradually adjusted, allowing you to keep consistent exposure when lighting conditions change unexpectedly.

An optional rod adapter supports small wireless motors like our Nano 2 Motor to control the ND wirelessly.

This is ideal for situations when the lighting changes suddenly on partially cloudy days or when the camera cannot physically be accessed such as when on a steadicam or crane.

Low Color Shift High Performance ND Filter

Color Temperature Stability (Base Level 6703K)

Unlike traditional VNDs, the Mirage Pro VND delivers highly accurate color reproduction with minimal color shift when ND is applied. It effectively preserves both color temperature and DUV, ensuring a more accurate white point.

SSI Spectral Consistency Curve

The 114mm VND features high-precision optical coatings for accurate color fidelity. Due to optical limitations, a cross pattern artifact may appear when using ND stops between 1.8 and 2.1. Using a longer focal length lens can help minimize this issue. *Data from the Tilta Research Lab.
