I knew this wasn't the most expensive one on market. It seemed to be in the middle price wise. I used it the first time and bent the handle. It still works and I think I can bend it back. It wasn't a huge log and I didn't expect it to bend on first use.

Heavy duty, strong, a little wobbly but still give 5 star.

Running your chain into the ground is quickest way to dull it’s cut. Depending on what is being cut, I’ll use the grapple on my tractor, but there are times I’m in the woods and can’t get my tractor in place, so this was the solution I chose. It shipped in a compact box and was easy to assemble. I did find I will probably add some lock-tite to the handle as it started to unscrew once while working, but that is an easy fix. The log roller/jack was easy to place over the trees and lift off the ground to make my cuts. Even if I didn’t want to lift it, it worked well as a level to roll the tree to finish my cut after going most of the way through on the first pass. The only complaint I have the black finish gets quite hot in the sun while working. I may end up repainting it for this very reason, but it may not be an issue for all.

I haven't used this item yet, but will comment on the product itself. First of all, it is a very heavy duty product. Thick steel hook and base. Very easy to assemble, 5 -10 minutes. I was prepared to swap out the nuts that came with it with self-locking nuts, but to my surprise this came with self-locking nuts. Now I don't have to worry about the nuts coming loose out in the field. The way this is made there is no way that it won't work as it's described.
