- Why doesn't the timing tool light up?
- Please ensure the arrow on the sensor clip points toward the spark plug of cylinder No.1 and the sensor clip needs to be close to cylinder No.1.
- The polarity of the power clamp is reversed. Please make sure that the red clamp is connected to the positive pole and the black clamp is connected to the negative pole.
- The power clamp has poor contact. Make sure the clamp is connected to a clean battery.
- Why is the ignition weak or the spark plug gap too small?
- Connect other spark plug wires. If it lights up, repair the spark plug and high-voltage wire.
- Why does the timing light flash intermittently?
- The timing light induction clamp wire is too close to other high-voltage wires. Please make sure that the induction clamp is away from other high-voltage wires.

Impressions:-This is a good value for a good quality automotive 12V compatible ignition timing light that works well and has a bright light that’s easy to see.-It has both a sensor clip and 2 alligator clips and long leads that are a good length.Pros:-Good value for the style and quality.-Good quality, well made. Made of a sturdy ABS plastic.-Works to test engine timing and shows it in flashes (no screen or readout).-12V ignition compatibility.-8-16 v operating voltage range.-Compatible between 200 to 10,000 RPM.-Bright light, easy to see with a xenon lamp.-Can be used with compatible vehicles, boats, RV’s and motorcycles.-Has protection built in for: overload, reverse polarity.-Push button on the handle for stopping and starting.-Easy to hold, grip and use with a non slip handle.-2 alligator style clips with long lead that are both color coded.-Leads (to the 2 alligator clips and the 1 sensor clip) are long at 39.3 inches in length.-Slide sensor clip, with a long lead. Worked exactly as expected. I find a need for a photo light quite infrequent but when I found mine was no longer operational I needed something. Worked just fine.
