Excellent i ran my samsung galaxy tab through the usb input with cds I have digitized on the tab and got a cd quality 192khz output. Sounds very good.

As a former Professional Musician, the sound quality of my system is very important. But, I am NOT an audio snob that spends $15K+ on a system. MUSIC is the focus, not the high-priced equipment. I bought this DAC to upgrade from an SMSL SU-1 ($100) that had AK4493 x1 DAC Chips. Wanted the same AKM DAC velvet sound but with remote volume control. This Topping sounds great and has AK4493 x2 DAC Chips. One for each L-R output. The remote is a huge advantage in the living room 3.1 music system. My sub has line in/out with crossover adjustment, and volume control knob...so I do not need sub-out on the DAC or Bass mgt. software. The (PC, DVD Player, Roku box) are all connected by HDMI, and send audio output via Coax on TV. PC Windows Media Player handles all 16-bit and 24 bit files in my local Hard Drive library with max output of 24 BIt/48 KHZ. The online Amazon Music HD Web Player is 24Bit/48KHZ for Hi-Res and sounds as good to my ears as 24 Bit/192KHZ files on streamers. I use the 75" TV screen instead of a phone app, or 6" device screen (like WIIM or Eversolo). So, with a wireless PC mouse and now this new Topping DAC remote...all control is from the listening chair. Worth the $60 extra from the SMSL unit. Most people would NOT hear any difference in 24 bit @48KHZ, 96KHZ, or 192 KHZ in a BLIND test. Don't fall for the trap of NEEDING a streamer. For fast listening or background music, the Roku has Amazon Music app, and plays in 16 Bit/44KHZ with my HD subscription. If you have Amazon Prime, its $10.99 /month (or less for annual). Well under Tidal, Quobuz, Spotify (low res only), or others. UPDATE: now added SMSL P0100 DDC unit. ($60). This takes USB-C from PC and re-clocks to reduce errors in digital packet transmission and jitter. Output is now Optical to the Topping DAC...and my online stream rate has increased to 24/96 KHZ vs 24/48 KHZ wit Chrome browser on Amazon Music HD.
