As a person that didn't really know much about the Torchbeam H16/H9 Fog Lamp, I initially handed this product off to my husband as opposed to tinkering with this object myself. In truth, I didn't know what to expect of it and I didn't really have any high or low hopes going forward. I assumed he'd figure out the perfect route between our vehicles and decide the best approach. The instillation, according to his word, was a bit tricky at first--when reading the instructions. It took us both a moment to finally realize what it was we were actually holding in our hands and what we were supposed to do. So, since I have quite a bit to say, I believe it best to give an overall brief rundown of our experience!Shipping was quick, unexpectedly so. We received the product a day or two earlier than what was initially said. The package was small, carefully wrapped, and the inside was perfectly cushioned to ensure no damage was done to any part of the fog lights--which I greatly appreciate as someone that has faced numerous instances of items being all but destroyed in shipping. The box was actually eye-catching, I do believe their branding is quite aesthetically pleasing. If anything, the design alone would probably make me stop to take a look if I saw it in stores. Branding, for me, is a big thing. How a company packs their product and markets their product really shows how much faith or trust can be put into it!The instillation process was overall quick, with a few hiccups that I am almost certain come with age--we are quite up there after all. However, there wasn't a problem at all with the product itself. I don't think I've ever had something come together so quickly in terms of tinkering with things. The change from what we initially had to what we had now was extremely noticeable, in my opinion. Previously, I'd wager that our fog lights were old--if not downright bad. The dimness, the quality, it was quite horrible in comparison with the Torchbeam. The brightness was exceedingly better, if not the best that I've seen since purchasing our vehicle some years ago. I would say that these fog lamps are much stronger than our original ones, have a better, if not more focused beam that truly does enhance road visibility during the night or during rough weather. Based on the quality when handling the product, and how nicely they felt and seemed to be put together, I have faith that these are durable--long lasting is a plus and I definitely think they will be.

I chose these lights recently because after a bit of research the brand is quality for reasonable price, and I’m pretty happy with the results thus far. The color output is a clean, a nice bright white that looks way more crisp compared to the overly blue hue of the OEM bulbs. Not only does it give the car a sharper appearance, but visibility in fog and bad weather has improved, and I feel more confident when driving at night. The fit was perfect, and installation was super easy. I’m not particularly handy with cars, but it only took around 15 minutes to swap them out. Everything lined up perfectly, and it was truly plug-and-play with no extra wiring or adjustments needed. Thank the lord, because I’m not very DIY with cars.I was a little worried they might feel cheap like some aftermarket lights do, but these feel really durable. Overall, this has been a big upgrade in both performance and appearance. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a quick and easy improvement.

Lights seem to be well built with quality materials. I went from Halogen to these and it is night and day difference. I can't believe how bright they are. Easy installation. I've had them in for over a month and had no problems. Great light for a great price.

We have a 2015 Subaru Impreza Wagon and I’m pretty certain the existing lights are what it came with straight from the factory. Needless to say, when I drive and turn on the lights at night, I can’t tell much of a difference between them on or off, low or high.I found these LED headlights and they are definitely brighter than what we’ve had. Definitely a plus if you live in an area with wildlife or woods. Torchbeam really took the time and effort to give you everything that you might need to install their headlights. They include extra retainer screws for a better fit, gloves for you to wear while handling the lights; zip ties and an instruction manual. These items are packaged under the actual lights. They definitely look different than the typical headlights you might be used to, but they look cool. They also have a small cord and plug to connect, it’s not a hard stationary plug like typical bulbs. Also, if you have a Subaru, be mindful that you need to remove an air duct to access the passenger side light assembly. Also that you might need to replace the retainer clips(round plastic screw that pushes into the car to secure body pieces) that hold the air duct in place. And a flathead screwdriver or similar tool to remove the air duct clips. I will say that Adding new retaining screws into the light assembly is a bit tedious, especially if you’re a guy with big hands. My husband is 6’8 and he couldn’t get the screws in, so I stepped in. I am certain it would have been easier if we had the entire assembly out versus installing them when they’re secured to the car. So if you are planning to upgrade your headlight assembly, it would be an ideal time to upgrade to these lights. They are extremely bright, which is a great thing for me, but it could be a bit much for passing motorists since I’ve had a few folks flash their lights at me assuming I have my brights on. I also learned that some areas of the world prohibit LED lights so doublecheck where you live. The cost is great for the quality. They look more expensive than they actually are! I’m giving 4 stars because they’re a bit difficult to install for the average driver and because I’m pretty sure I’ve temporarily annoyed passing motorists. On the flip side, I can see on these dark mountain roads of Colorado.
