The TU series uses a different jaw shape than the T500 series. The T500 has 2 same shape jaws; whereas the newer TU hoist has U-shaped jaws which has more grip.

Thanks to its strength and durability, the TU series griphoist is approved by UL and is qualified to be used as man-riding equipment.
