Not black but color matched my model 722D perfectly. Had to remove center bolt with 3/4” socket on dual rear tire assembly to install but everything matched right up to existing frame holes and used 9/16” deep well socket to tighten. 15 minute easy install.

Fit very well but took some time to install. Please note this is not made for a lot of tongue weight. It’s made to pull spreaders and other light weight implements.

Very happy with the product, but the carriage bolts we longer than they needed to be. Using shorter carriage bolts made it easy to install. Then lifted the back w a floor jack which allowed the suspension to move. Installed on a 727k

Hitch came with bolts that do not work with my Grasshopper 623. They are lag bolts. The holes for the hitch attachment on the mower are not square. We had to get our own. A bit of a pain.

Works great, but the instructions were a little 'off' for my Grasshopper 623. The provided instructions say (in short) to:1. jack the back of the mower up; remove pivot bolt to dual tail wheel assembly2. mount the hitch using the provided bolts3. reinstall the dual tail wheel assemblyBut my 623 has "rear weights", which must first be removed (otherwise there is no access to put the nuts on the hitch bolts). Then once I got the mower jacked up, the dual tail assembly actually pivoted enough for me to just mount the hitch without removing it (but use extreme care; if the mower comes off the jack during installation, your fingers will be in trouble).Your experience may vary, but the bottom line is that you are just bolting this hitch onto your mower using existing holes in the frame. Very easy to install.

Attachments fit this bracket well and track well behind the mower. It is more challenging to install than the instructions would suggest.
