I’m really happy with this wooden pet ramp. I was initially concerned that the adjustable rail could pose a collapse risk but once i set this up I felt reassured. I would compare the mechanism to a nice, adjustable, deck chair. The design is well-balanced, sturdy, and not horribly ugly (like the plastic steps I’ve seen on the market). It’s also very convenient that this folds down to a very slim height. It’s slips under the bed easily and in a small home I am grateful for this feature. It easily handles all 6 lbs of my chihuahua River (short for: From the River to the Sea) but is rated for up to 150 pounds. It’s not flimsy and I would trust this to handle a heavy dog.All around I’m pleased with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship.
