Some swing-arms have no threaded holes for spools and are at an angle. Without spools the bike can be difficult to lift with a stand. Once lifted, it can be unstable. The angle on the swing-arms makes it worse. It can cause the bike to slip off the stand and fall. T-Rex spool adapters are made to meet this challenge. They are designed to securely attach to the swing-arms and allow safe lifting of the rear wheel using a paddock stand. Other manufactures' spool adapters will also allow you to lift the bike but will not allow you to remove the wheel. This is because their spools are attached to the chain adjuster blocks and they will come off as the wheel is removed. Our spool adapters attach to the swing-arm tubing.
