Tried this trigger on two different engines and it shows firing but the timing is way off, put original trigger back on after fixing the black/ white wire and engine ran

This "trigger" caused such a big backfire that it BLEW out the reeds on my fresh rebuild!The only fix is to tear down the engine and pull out the crank shaft so you can replace the damaged parts!This terrible. It cost me over 10 hours to fix this destruction.Never buy Chinese after market crap!
