This is a cold shoe mount fits well and adds a cube of cold shoe mounts for other devices to mount in to the top, left, and right, then on the other two faces it receives female 1/4” screws.It can attach to a typical cold shoe on a camera (my old DSLR, my newer film camera, etc, they haven’t changed those specs so they’re all still standard), but you can also remove the cold shoe mount and go straight in on the 1/4” screw if that is what you need. You tighten/loosen that option with an allan wrench through the middle of it.This has a hard stop on the three cold shoe slots that it receives, so you can only slide devices onto it or off of it in one direction. The same seller has a model that does not have that stop and for that model you cand slide them in either direction. Personally I like this model slightly better, just has a little more reassurance that you have it snugly into the mount.Regardless, they’re both solid pieces of metal, well formed and I recommend them!

Ordered this to organize some gear on my desk. Its a metal bracket with three places to attach things. I put my webcam and microphone on it. Seems sturdy and well built. The base attaches firmly. While I am not a photographer, it serves its function well for holding my office peripherals. No complaints about its performance for what I need it for. Simple device that works as advertised.Recommendation: Yes, if you need a simple multi accessory mount.

I use this primarily with my OSMO Pocket 3 travel kit which affords me to add additional accessories when I mount the OP3 on my travel tripod. I use it both for the additional cold shoe (lights, microphone, phone holder) and the 1/4"-20 to which I have a QR mount attached for the OP3. This assembly makes for a neat and convenient way to get all of my accessories and OP3 mounted to my portable tripod.

This cold shoe adapter is a great way to turn one cold shoe into three. Having the 1/4" Arri style mounting points also makes it convenient for adding a monitor mount as well. The construction seems to be pretty solid and it is very lightweight. Overall, I think it provides a good value and I am very happy with it.

Here you see a microphone and LED light attached to one of my DSLR cameras. There are still three cold shoe faces remaining faces for attaching other devices. For now, this is the extent of what I will likely attach. Small item but big on usefulness. Nicely machined, powder coated aluminum. Will cost you the equivalent of one fast food meal but you'll own it forever.

I’ll admit—I’m a bit of a gearhead when it comes to photography accessories. As a field-studio photographer, I rely on clever, well-built tools to get the job done, and this little adapter is a perfect example. It’s as simple a concept as they come, but the solid build quality inspires complete confidence when mounting cold-shoe flashes and lights.I can already see this becoming a go-to piece in my gear bag. Well designed, well built, and endlessly useful!

I have two different multi-shoe mounts from Mechrig. I like this style better because it has closed sides, compared to the other version with open sides. It's more of a personal preference for me, but I find this works better for my needs. The solid aluminum is nice and I don't have to worry about it failing in demanding environments. 5/5 stars.
